The particulate nature of Ficam D means it will not be absorbed by porous surfaces and where deposits remain undisturbed, it will provide long term residual activity. Ficam D is broad-spectrum dust for use against wasps and various crawling insects. However, due to the Bendiocarb 1.289 % w/w contents of the dustable powder, it is only licensable to professionals. Bendiocarb is a toxic insecticide used to treat a wide range of nuisance insects.
If you're treating an indoor area that is difficult to access, such as roof beams, voids, ducts and around any installation where spraying is not ideal, Ficam D wasp powder is your first choice.
Precautions
It is important to note that you should use PPE gloves and a particle filter respiratory mask which utilises a protection factor of 20 when using this product. Furthermore, protective overalls which are impermeable to the biocidal product should be used.
Ficam D is for use indoors in areas including houses, blocks of flats, hospitals, warehouses, factories, museums, military establishments, vehicles, ships and aircraft.

Indoor use:
• For control of wasps and hornets (nests) including Asian hornets nests, as an indoor nest treatment, used with an impervious surface covering.
• For direct application against Ants, as a spot application, specifically around electrical equipment, inside of voids, cavities and service vents.
Application
Apply Ficam D by hand shaker, puffer pack, bellows and piston-type applicator guns. Only for use against wasps and hornets when applied by manual and/or powered applicator. Apply a maximum of 11 times per year per application site.
